I always get any Audio when it comes to Ella Frank and especially Charlie David. Amazon has been broken lately but for me it was a plus. The audiobook dropped over a week earlier than the ebook. Then came the sexual tension and I kept thinking how long til they give in cause it was definitely getting hot in there.
They are definitely opposites.They got to each other but deep down they've known each other their whole lives so there was already love there. I was thoroughly amused listening to them bicker back and forth. U could read this without reading Confessions just knowing it's an awkward situation because Seans brother is Xanders best friend but it more fun when you know all about them ahead of time. I loved the Confessions series so much and I loved Xander snd Sean (aka detective dick) so I couldn't wait for this. 🙄 Other than that everything about it was great and it's going to be a long 2 months for the next one to come out. Loved the story! Pretty good performance. I can’t be sure that either of us are playing anymore. I know I’m good at my job and playing a character and all, but this is getting out of hand. Except suddenly my stomach’s flipping when he looks my way, and my body comes alive whenever he brushes by me. Xander and I have known each other for years, so this should be a breeze. Going undercover has never been an issue in the past, so I don’t see why there’d be a problem now. I mean, I’m allowed to give him a hard time about it, but when some creep decides to cross the line and go after him, they’re gonna have to answer to me. It must be so hard to be Alexander Thorne, the number one prime-time news anchor in the country, with millions of dollars and a car that costs more than my house. Now, not only do I have a bodyguard, I also have a fake boyfriend.
